Group and individual Dog Walking are both available from Walkies Scotland.
Your dog needs interaction with other dogs. They need to learn social behaviour, and where best to learn this?
With a Walkies Experience, fresh air, secure rural environment, experience nature, maybe even have a swim...
Now, not all dogs understand these qualities, but a few sessions with Walkies and your dog will behave in a completely different manner. You dog may be too old or injured for these energetic sessions, so we would tailor a suitable grouping for their level of fitness.
In time, these sessions will stimulate even a nervous dog into a confident pet and boost its behavioral issues.
Sessions can be in Half Hour modules to 1 Hour, whichever fits your dogs current situation.
We have access to some stunning walks, Pentland Hills, Forest enclosures and rivers, country estates with swimming facilities, as well as Regional Parkland for the less needy.
Transporting your dog is very important to us.
The vans are modern, Air Conditioned and Ventilated, with (in transit) lighting, and fully caged for 8 dogs.
The cage bases are removable, cleaned every day, and fresh comfortable bedding used each walk.
These vans carry power washers, water, blankets & towels, First Aid, as well as a selection of leads and restraints.
Compliance.
We are fully registered with Midlothian Council and have our trading certification for 2022.
We are compliant with GDPR, HMRC and Fully Insured.
Vans are regularly serviced and sprayed with AntiBacterial/Virus agents each day.
Most walks are either filmed or snaps taken and uploaded to Instagram.
The walkers have chestcam video running at all times as well as the dashcam in the vans.

DOG WALKING
Walkies Scotland offer a personalised dog walking service around Penicuik designed to meet the needs of the owner and the dog.
We will come and get to know you and your family before we decide what is the best solution for your puppy or dog.
Your dog might need quiet local walks, or high energy runs in a group, or frequent solo walks. We will easily accommodate a solution which suits all.
Your dog will always get high quality care and attention from our team.
Some dogs just need a little company throughout the day, and maybe food and water top up. Some may have higher energy and need a good run at least once a day.
DAILY WALKS
1 hour walk - £12.00 (Additional dogs £8.00)

Weekend 1hr walk - £15.00

Pet Visits (1/2 hr) - £8.00

FULLY INSURED
SAFETY & WELFARE
Walkies Scotland use all approved safety harnesses for travelling. First aid kits and water are always on board and we are qualfied in Animal Care.
CAT VISITS and PET SERVICES

Our Cat Visit/s include a playtime session. Cats love to play, and we will keep your cat mentally stimulated to keep them happy whilst you are away. We will also let your cat in and out and clean and change your cat litter tray, whichever is applicable to your cat.

Pet Sitting for your smaller furry pets, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and birds. We will feed and water them as well as clean out bedding and any playtime or exercise as requested by you.
​
It's a half an hour per visit and we can offer multiple visits within any day.
We can pick up your mail, water plants, close curtains, turn lights on/off whilst you are away whilst attending to your pet.

HOME BOARDING
Walkies Scotland will board only regular walked dogs giving you peace of mind when you need that extra support for holidays or time off.
£27.00 per night
GDPR AND COUNCIL COMPLIANT
Walkies Scotland are fully compliant and copies of our policy can be obtained by request. We are fully registered with Midlothian Council.

Walkies Scotland operate from Penicuik and can facilitate Roslin, Loanhead, Bilston, Howgate and any address within this peripheral zone.

Our vans are professionally equipped with individual cages, leads, muzzles, and cleaning equipment, designed to meet your dogs safe experience with us. We have just insulated the vans which keeps the space warmer in winter, and cooler in summer.
